In a shocking incident in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly killed his elderly mother after she refused to give him 40 rupees to buy alcohol. Authorities have reported the details of this tragic event.

On Saturday, in the Kasigwan village of the Sen Paschimpara area, a man named Rajaram requested 40 rupees from his 80-year-old mother, Rajeshwari, for purchasing liquor. When she declined, Rajaram attacked her with a brick.

According to Assistant Police Commissioner Shikhar from the Panki area, Rajeshwari attempted to escape by locking herself in a room. However, Rajaram broke down the door, dragged her out, and struck her repeatedly on the head with the brick, resulting in her immediate death.

Local residents intervened and managed to apprehend Rajaram, handing him over to the police. The body of Rajeshwari has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
